Accessibility statement

Our commitment. We want everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to browse Yael & Abi and order from us. The site aims to meet Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 level AA.

What we did.

Pages work with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus marker.

Pictures have text descriptions; decorative pictures are hidden from screen readers.

Text and colours meet the contrast levels of the standard.

Hebrew pages read right to left; every language has its own page.

The site was tested with automated checks (axe) on 32 pages (and on the home page with the high-contrast and monochrome modes on) and with the NVDA screen reader.

The accessibility menu. The "Accessibility" button at the top of every page opens a menu where you can enlarge the text (up to 150%), switch to high contrast or monochrome, highlight links, stop animations and use a more readable font. "Reset all" returns to the default. Your choices are kept on your device only.

Known limitations. We know of no barriers at this date.
